Upper Twp, NJ (July 28, 2025) – On Saturday, July 26, there were multiple confirmed injuries after a vehicle collision in the Palermo area of Upper Township. The incident took place at the 800 block of South Shore Road that afternoon. Multiple emergency units were dispatched to the scene, including the Marmora Volunteer Fire Company, Seaville Fire and Rescue, Tuckahoe Volunteer Fire Company, and the Upper Township Division of EMS.
Two vehicles reportedly collided head-on at the scene, trapping one person inside a car. Another party was able to escape their vehicle and was found on the roadway. A medical helicopter was dispatched to the scene to transport one victim for hospitalization, and two other victims were taken to a local hospital by ambulance. The area was temporarily closed as local authorities were present. No further information on the incident is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
