Toms River, NJ (July 16, 2025) – On Monday, July 14, there were reported injuries in an auto-pedestrian accident in the Toms River area. The crash took place in a parking lot at the ShopRite on Fischer Boulevard. Due to the severity of the injuries, a medevac was dispatched to the scene, but due to inclement weather, the victim was transported by ambulance to Jersey Shore University Medical Center.
The victims sustained multiple injuries, including head injuries, facial lacerations, eye injuries, and a partially amputated ear requiring surgery. The pedestrian was reportedly pinned underneath the vehicle. No charges have been filed at this time, and no updates on the condition of the injured party are currently available.
