New Jersey Car Accidents
Most of us have to drive to go about our everyday lives, and there’s no telling what someone else will do behind the wheel. Unfortunately, car crashes are the leading cause of death and serious injury, both here in New Jersey and across the country. Recently, the state reported 276,861 car accidents, resulting in 59,850 injuries and 524 fatalities.
We anticipate a higher death toll on New Jersey roads this year compared to the previous year. Drunk driving was the cause of 182 of the 574 collisions that resulted in fatal injuries in 2023. The number of car accidents went down in 2020, but more people died.
