Millville, NJ – Man Killed in Electric Scooter Crash at E Pine St Intersection

Millville, NJ (September 10, 2025) – A fatal collision involving an electric scooter and a car occurred early Sunday morning, September 7, in Cumberland County.

The crash happened around 1:00 a.m. near the intersection of North 3rd Street and East Pine Street. According to Millville Police, a 24-year-old Vineland woman was driving northbound on North 3rd Street when her vehicle collided with an electric scooter.

The scooter rider, identified as 36-year-old Robert Bowman of Millville, was transported by ambulance to Cooper University Hospital in Camden. Despite emergency efforts, he succumbed to his injuries. The driver of the car was not hurt, and no charges have been announced at this time. 

Authorities are continuing their investigation and are asking anyone with information to contact Millville Police Sgt. William Stadnick at 856-825-7010, ext. 7372.
