Manchester Twp, NJ – Two Teens Hurt in Dirt Bike Crash on Hay Rd

Manchester Twp, NJ (July 23, 2025) – On Sunday, July 20, two teenagers were injured after two dirt bikes collided in Manchester Township. The incident was reported on Hay Road in the Greenwood Forest Wildlife Management area late that night at around 8:15 p.m. Emergency crews were quickly dispatched to the scene, where they found a Kawasaki dirt bike with extensive front-end damage lying across the roadway, along with two male riders with severe injuries. 

It was later revealed that the operator of the Kawasaki was traveling north on Hay Road when a Yamaha dirt bike began a U-turn on the trail. The two bikes crashed, resulting in the rider of the Kawasaki being ejected from the bike.

The rider of the Kawasaki, later identified as 18-year-old William Vandergrift II of Browns Mills, was transported to Community Medical Center for the treatment of sustained injuries. The other rider, later identified as 18-year-old Dominic Valdivieso, also of Browns Mills, was airlifted to Cooper University Hospital for treatment. No further updates on the collision are currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the incident is underway.
