Jersey City, NJ (October 8, 2025) – On Monday evening, October 6, a hit-and-run crash left four juveniles injured in Jersey City.

The incident occurred shortly after 5 p.m. on Wilkinson Avenue, between Ocean Avenue and Martin Luther King Jr. Drive. According to police, four male teenagers, ages 13, 15, 17, and 17, were riding two motorized mopeds when they were struck by a sedan that fled the scene. Surveillance footage later showed the teens running for help while the vehicle drove away.

Witnesses described a chaotic scene as neighbors rushed to help the injured teens. At least one teen suffered two broken legs and a fractured hip, while others sustained visible bruising and struggled to move following the collision.

All four victims were taken to Jersey City Medical Center, where three remained hospitalized but, fortunately, were listed in stable condition. Authorities confirmed that the suspected vehicle involved in the crash has been recovered, though no arrests have been made. The investigation remains ongoing.

We extend our wishes for a full and speedy recovery to the injured teens.
