Pedestrian Accidents in Los Angeles

Pedestrian crashes are among the most devastating accidents in New Jersey. With congested intersections, high foot traffic, and constant vehicle movement, people on foot face far greater risks than drivers or passengers in cars. Recent data shows that New Jersey records hundreds of pedestrian deaths and thousands of injuries each year, many of them occurring in crowded urban areas and along busy corridors.

These incidents often happen because of driver negligence. Speeding, distracted driving, running red lights, and failing to yield at crosswalks are among the leading causes. Poor visibility, especially at night, can also increase the chances of serious injuries. Sadly, pedestrians have no physical protection, which means even a low-speed crash can lead to catastrophic results.

The aftermath of a pedestrian crash can be overwhelming. Victims often suffer broken bones, spinal cord damage, or traumatic brain injuries. Recovery can take months or even years, forcing people to miss work while medical bills pile up. Families often face emotional distress on top of the financial strain, leaving them unsure of where to turn for help.

If you or a loved one was hurt in a pedestrian accident, you may be entitled to significant compensation. This can include coverage for hospital bills, rehabilitation, lost wages, and pain and suffering. However, insurance companies often fight hard to limit what they pay, making it difficult for victims to get the financial support they truly need.

That’s where a personal injury lawyer in Trenton can make a difference. An experienced attorney knows how to investigate the crash, gather the right evidence, and negotiate with insurance companies.
